Mercedes 280CE Manual (W114) from 1975, showing just 22220 miles from new which is believed to be genuine. As you can view from the images this car is more ‘spares’ than repair although Country Classic Cars acquired the car in 2014 with the intention of returning this classic coupe to the road.

Certified ‘petrolheads only’ need apply for the Skyline GT-R that Country Classic Cars have been asked to sell for a client who currently resides overseas. A BNR32 chassis showing 101k kilometres or 62k miles with a UK import date of 2014 since when this performance focused Nissan has enjoyed engine upgrades resulting in current figures approaching 500bhp!!

hanks to Maurice Wilks, Rover’s (post-war) Chief Designer, the idea of producing a light utility vehicle along the lines of the Willy’s Jeep came to pass when the first pre-production Land Rovers arrived in 1947.

The first Range Rover idea was initially put forward in the early 50’s but it wasn’t until 1967 work on a prototype began in earnest; it was finalised in 1969. During the year of 1969-70, 26 Velar engineering development vehicles were built and road registered; the name Velar comes from the Italian ‘velare’ which means to veil or cover.
